Failure Phenomenon-Loss of Permeate Product

● Possible causes: 1. The membrane permeability is larger than it required.
● Measures: 1. Select the membrane elements with high rejection rate.
Failure Phenomenon-Low Membrane Flux

● Possible causes: 1. The membrane is polluted or dirty; 2. The circulation flow is low; 3. The inlet pressure is too low; 4. The working temperature is too low.
● Measures: 1.Run a CIP cycle cleaning; 2. Increase circulation flow; 3. Increase membrane inlet or feed pressure; 4. Start heating device or reduce cooling.
Failure Phenomenon-Component Leakage

● Possible causes: 1. Missing or damaged of sealing ring.
● Measures: 1. Find a suitable ring or replace the sealing ring.
Failure Phenomenon-Turbidity of Permeate

● Possible causes: 1. The sealing ring is damaged; 2. The membrane element is damaged; 3. The membrane is fouled.
● Measures: 1. Replace the sealing ring; 2. Replace a new membrane element; 3. System Chemical cleaning.
Failure Phenomenon-Component Pressure Difference Exceeds the Standard

● Possible causes: 1. The feed liquid does not reach the true solution, or there are too much impurities in the membrane flow channel; 2. The concentration in the module is too high; 3. The circulation flow rate is too large.
● Measures: 1. Filter out the impurities; 2. Reduce concentration times of the system; 3. Reduce the flow circulation.
Fault Phenomenon-Operating Temperature is too High

● Possible causes: 1. Insufficient cooling water flow; 2. The heat exchanger is too small; 3. The body capacity is too small.
● Measures: 1. Increase cooling water flow; 2. Equip cooling system in the feed tank; 3. Use larger capacity liquid.
